My journey to law started on a manufacturing shop floor. Prior to going to law school, I worked for nearly a decade in building materials manufacturing, managing teams and streamlining operations in plants across the southeast. I found that I loved building relationships with people as we worked together to solve problems big and small. I decided to leverage my relationship building and problem-solving skills into a career as an attorney. I want to use my skills to go beyond improving productivity and focus on helping others tackle their biggest challenges.
In law school, I found I had a passion for legal writing. I was recognized on multiple occasions for my legal brief writing as a student scholar and a Moot Court Competition Member. My work has also been published in law reviews and other forums on topics like judicial ethics and contract law.
As a Litigation Associate at Thurman, Wilson, Boutwell, and Galvin, P.A., I am able to combine the skills I brought from my career in manufacturing with the legal knowledge I gained in school and practice to break down complex legal issues and work with clients to find the solution that works best for them. While my background gives me first-hand knowledge that I can use to help business clients and construction clients, I enjoy working in most areas of civil law. When I am not helping clients, I enjoy spoiling my puppy, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.

Client Reviews
What a great professional experience I have had working with Mr. Galvin! His straight-forward, honest approach has helped me both personally and professionally in many ways. He is always there when I need him.
I recently engaged the legal services of James Galvin, Esq., to assist me in a foreclosure case brought by a bank. He skillfully and thoughtfully negotiated a very successful conclusion with a nominal cash settlement of an otherwise considerable debt. I can thoroughly recommend the use of his...
James Galvin is the most honest and forthright attorney I ever met. He has been a pleasure to work with. If I ever need an attorney again, James will be my choice. I know he will work hard on your behalf to help resolve the matter to your best interest.
